Acerca de mí
Hi. My name is Fergus. I graduated from St Andrews University, with a degree in English Language and Literature, in 1993. I also attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) from 1993 to 1996.
In 2001 I qualified as an English Language teacher in Barcelona, in the middle of my career as an actor.
I love language and culture, and am working towards a level C1 exam in Spanish. English is my mother tongue, as I was born and educated in the U.K.
Doy clases desde mi piso en la calle Alcalde Sainz de Baranda, a 500 metros del Retiro. Pueden ser presenciales o virtuales según tu gusto y horario.
Soy nativo inglés, graduado en English Language and Literature, por la Universidad de Saint Andrews (Escocia), situada en el segundo lugar del ranking de universidades del Reino Unido.
Tengo mucho interés en enseñar English for Medical Professionals.
No obstante, puedo enseñar a adultos de cualquier nivel siempre que tengan ganas de aprender.

What can I do for you?
I can help you improve your English language skills: Fluency in speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as help you build your vocabulary, perfect your pronunciation, and understand grammar better.
Qué puedo hacer por tí?
Puedo ayudarte a mejorar tus destrezas en inglés: soltura con hablar, escribir, leer y eschuchar, así como a enriquecer tu vocabulario, perfeccionar tu pronunciación y a entender mejor la gramática.
De una manera relajada y entretenida, y con una buena ética laboral, me gustaría ayudarte a alcanzar tus metas en inglés general, o para la profesión médica.
Cuál es mi planteamiento?
After you contact me, we will hopefully be able to meet for a free introductory lesson, and I'll give you a booklet which asks you a little about yourself and what you want from the course.
You can then decide whether you would prefer to have one-to-one lessons in your home or place of work, or at my flat or through an online platform such as Skype. I could also teach one-to-two, if you want to share the cost of the lessons with a colleague or friend.
Using the information you give me from the questionnaires in the booklet and our interview, I will then devise a course to suit your needs.
